William Edward “Willie” Johnson Jr., age 65, of Hodgenville, passed away, Monday, January 17, 2022, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.
He was a Missionary Baptist that always dreamed of being a police officer; a man who touched the hearts of many and loved an abundance of things including, hamburgers, hotdogs, watching westerns, being on the farm and playing with children.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents, William “Willie” and Rosetta Johnson Sr.
He is survived by a special mother Reba Garcia of Hodgenville; three special brothers, Albert (Tabitha) Hall, Sylvester (Taylor) Garcia and Lalo (Morgan) Garcia all of Hodgenville; a special sister, Becky (Lonnie) Crain of Hart County, a sister, Dorothy Johnson; two brothers, Ricky and Danny Johnson; several special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, January 20, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Ray Riggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Levelwoods Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
