William "Bill" Miller

William “Bill” Lee Miller, age 81, of Louisville, formerly of Hodgenville, passed away, Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville.  

He was an Army veteran serving during the Vietnam era, retired Garden Department Manager at K-Mart for 35 years, a former member of Friendship No. 2 Baptist Church in Hodgenville and a member of Ormsby Heights Baptist Church in Louisville.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William “Buddy” G. and Lyda Brown Miller.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Alice Veirs; a son, Terry (Danette) Miller of Louisville: two sisters, Sue Exler of Vine Grove and Glenda Miller of Lebanon; two brothers, Ronald (Ilene) Miller of Elizabethtown and Otis (Jo) Miller of Crestwood.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, May 2, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Stewart Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow with military honors in the Middle Creek Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville and after 10:30 a.m. Monday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home.
