Vivian Gibson Caven, 93, of Magnolia, passed away, Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Separate Baptist Church, a homemaker and loved to quilt.
Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, Omer Caven; her parents, Joe and Lula Buckner Gibson; a grandson, Chris Jackson; four sisters, Frankie Milby, Wezzie Tharp, Dorothy Smith and Blondina Tierney and a son-in-law, Johnny Hawkins.
She is survived by three daughters, Gayle (Allan) Jackson and Donna (Phillip) Atherton all of Magnolia and Joslyn Hawkins of Alabama; a son, Randy (Charlotte) Caven of Magnolia; a sister, Leona Remines of Louisville; two brothers, Foster (Sharon) Gibson of Louisville and Garland Gibson of Florida; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, September 19, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia, Rev. Gerald Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Visitation will begin after 11 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
