Robert Lewis Wells

Robert Lewis Wells, age 66, of Linwood, passed away, Saturday, May 21, 2022, at his residence.

He was retired from Dart, a farmer and a member and firefighter at Linwood Fire Department.

Lewis was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Laura Wells; his parents, Oliver “Bo” and Leona Murray Wells; a sister Catherine Robinson and a brother, Freddy Wells.

He is survived by a son, Jason Wells of Hart County; four grandchildren, Thomas Hunter Wells, Braylen Wells, Caleb Poteet and Kaden Wells; four sisters, Shirley Brabandt of Indiana, Brenda Robinson and Marlene (Danny) Pippin all of Linwood and Teresa Zurschmiede of Clarkson; two brothers, Charles (Diane) Wells of Cave City and Dennis (Tracey) Wells of Linwood; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. (EDT) Tuesday, May 24, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia, Bro. Danny Pippin and Bro. Leo Kersey officiating. Burial will follow in Linwood Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 2 to 9 p.m. (EDT) Monday and after 10 a.m. (EDT) Tuesday at the funeral home.
