Linda J. Embry Skaggs

Linda J. Skaggs, age 61, of Buffalo, passed away, Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Baptist Health Hardin.

She was an Army veteran, former employee of Swope Toyota Café and loved working with the McDowell family at Lincoln General Store.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Joann Skaggs DeSpain; a sister, Susan Ann Embry and a nephew, Alphoso Shepherd.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Skaggs; a daughter, Chrissy DeSpain; a grandson, Zachary DeSpain; her father, Orvall Odell DeSpain; three sisters, Debra (Kerry) Johnson and Lisa (Lee) Ashley all of Elizabethtown, Kathy (Dave) Dulak of Hodgenville; two brothers, Darrell (Karen) Embry of Frankfort and Billy Joe Embry of Buffalo.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville, Bro Darrell Hensley and Tommy Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
