Lillian Louise "Patsy" Emerson Obituary

Lillian Louise “Patsy” Coy Emerson, age 82, of Roanoke, passed away Friday, April 16, 2021, at University of Louisville Hospital.

She was a loving mother and grandmother, a member of Union Christian Church; attended Watterson College and proudly received her Realtors License. She had a great sense of humor and was well known for her “one liners”.

Patsy was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Sullivan; her parents, Cyrus Mason and Anna Ree Farmer Coy and the father of her children, Albert Emerson, Sr.

She is survived by six children, Donald Emerson of Roanoke, Albert “Bub” Emerson, Jr. of Hodgenville, Sharon (Carroll) Parrett of Roanoke, Mark (Renee) Emerson of Hodgenville, Susie (Sonny) Jones of Magnolia and Sharlene Emerson of Roanoke; eleven grandchildren, Scott Emerson, Luke Emerson, Rachel VonBergen, Chris Sullivan, Kim Sullivan, Michelle Emerson, Chad Emerson, Nicole Hawkins, Josh Emerson, Jessica Jones and Chris Emerson; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and her beloved dog, Rosa.

In keeping with her wishes, funeral services will be private at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Rev. Billy Curle officiating. Burial will be in the Union Christian Church Cemetery.
