Kelly Dye, age 61, of Magnolia, passed away, Sunday, November 20, 2022, at his residence.
He was an Army veteran, a former employee of Metalsa of Elizabethtown,a member of Alapaha Baptist Church in Alapaha Georgia and a caregiver for his in-laws, Roger and Sue Staples.
Kelly was preceded in death by his parents, Colon B. Dye and Anna Katherine Arnold Dye; his step-mother, Rita Rosemary Dye; two half-brothers, Jerry Dye and Steve Tatum.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Staples Dye; a daughter, Brittney (Greg) Highbaugh of Upton; two sons, Justin (Crystal) Dye of Hodgenville and Cody (Amanda) Dye of Magnolia; 11 grandchildren, Hunter Dye, Jaden Salsman, Autumn Dye, Greyson Dye, Bradley Highbaugh, Josh (Angelina) Pickerell, Jesse Pickerell, Jadah Montgomery, Noah Rucker, Jonah Pickerell and Makenli Duvall; two sisters, Stormie (Tim) Sidebottom of Hodgenville, Indira (Robbie) Dix of Georgia; a brother, Antoni Dye of Iowa; three half-sisters, Trina (Freddie) Smith of Springfield, Carolina Dye of California and Sharlette Dye of Louisville; three half-brothers, Wayne (Sheila) Tatum of Elizabethtown, Michael (Karen) Tatum of Shepherdsville and Harry Dye of Louisville; a step-brother, John Persaud of Florida.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia, Bro. Billy Joe Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
