John Stephen Owens, age 66 years, of Louisville, passed away, Monday, August 24, 2020 at Kindred Hospital in Louisville.
The Bellarmine University graduate was a retired building superintendent for General Homes and Trammel Crow International and an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel L. Yates Owens and his father, Dr. Jack Winston Owens.
He is survived by his mother, Martha Vivian Burks Owens of Shelbyville; three sisters, Alice Ann (Jerry) Kirsch of Lexington, Lori (Charlie) Cotter and Mary Martha Owens both of Louisville; nephew, Davis William Owens and two nieces, Karen Lynn Smith and Debra Lee Coe.
Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville.
