Jane Reeves Wright, age 75, of Hodgenville, passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024, at her daughter’s residence.
She was a retired Home Economics teacher, starting her career at Meade County 1970 to 1976, Jane began the Home Economics Department at Hardin Central Junior High 1976 to 1980 and finished her career at LaRue County High School 1980 to 1999. She was a member of First Baptist Church and loved her farm, her neighbors and her dog Tater.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jan Wright; her parents, Motley and Barbara Reeves and a brother, Billy Reeves.
Jane is survived by her daughter, Julianne Wright of Hodgenville and a host of adopted family.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 3, at First Baptist Church with Scott Sandidge and Bro. Rodney Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home.
