Helen Jane Pearman Lile, age 89, of Hodgenville, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
She loved her Jesus her Lord and Savior, her family and her fur baby, Gracie Mae.
She was a wonderful mother and homemaker; in her earlier years she worked on the farm with her husband and sold Home Interiors and Gifts for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Otis T. Lile; her parents, Robert Gardner Pearman, Sr. and Anna Belle Sidebottom Pearman; seven brothers, Robert G. Pearman, Jr., John Thomas “J.T.” Pearman, Virgil Lee Pearman, James Paul Pearman, Harold Dean Pearman, William Leonard “Buddy” Pearman and Charles Richard Pearman and two sisters, Mable Louise Bell and Evelyn Joyce Hedgespeth.
Jane is survived by her daughter, Angela (Terry) Peace of Magnolia; a brother, Joseph Eugene Pearman of Hodgenville and three sisters, Mary Catherine McGuffey of Hodgenville, Martha Belle Cloninger of Shelbyville and Gloria Mae Farmer of Radcliff.
She is also survived by and affectionately know as “Aunt Jane” to many precious nieces and nephews as well as many others that were blessed to know her over the years.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, March 16, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Gary Pearman, Rev. Lucas Hedgespeth and Rev. Kurt Barros officiating. Burial will follow in Hodgenville Pentecostal Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Aunt Jane’s pallbearers will be six of her great-nephews, Alex Dohn, Ethan Hedgespeth, Dylon Hedgespeth, Titus Pearman, Thomas Pearman and Virgil Zicari.
