George Matthews Obituary

George Wayne “G.W.” Matthews, age 71, of Mt. Sherman, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Aileen Nunn Matthews and a daughter.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Hiser Matthews; five children, a sister, a brother and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In keeping with his wishes, burial was in Old Sherman Cemetery in Mt. Sherman with no formal services.
