Genrose Polley Meers

Genrose Polley Meers, age 96, of Buffalo, passed away, Friday, December 6, 2022, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home.

She was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church, Buffalo Garden Club, Eastern Star and the Quilting Club.

Genrose was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Meers Jr; her parents, Sanford and Ollie Jaggers Polley; two brothers, Jack and Otis Polley.

She is survived by three sons, Charles R. ( Dr. Fran Brennan) Meers of Louisville, J.T. ( Patsy Thomas) Meers and Dale (Kay) Meers all of Buffalo; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev. Harold Meers officiating. Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
