Geneva Bell Tucker, age 86, of Buffalo, passed away Friday, April 3, 2020, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.
A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, she was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Geneva was preceded in death by her husband Calvin Bell in 1998; her parents, Damon Lee and Elva Helm Ward and three brothers, Fred, Blaine and Bradley Ward.
She is survived by four daughters, Becky (Freddy) Hutcherson, Libbie (Donnie) Engle, Sheila (Windell) Ake and Lisa (Wayne Napper) Vidal; nine grandchildren, Lee Hutcherson, Jason Hutcherson, Tracie DeSpain, Junior Ake, Travis Ake, Shelly Ake, Chad Gray, Angie Gray and Selena Vidal; a brother, Wendell (Nancy) Ward; two sisters-in-law, Martha Ward and Phyllis Ward; 19 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
In accordance with the governor’s mandate, private visitation and funeral services will be held on Monday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Troutman officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Church Cemetery.
