Essie Skaggs Obituary

Essie Mae Skaggs, age 86, of Hodgenville, passed away, Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at Signature Healthcare in Bowling Green.

She was retired from Fruit of The Loom in Campbellsville and a member of Popular Grove Baptist Church.

Essie was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Annie Mae Skaggs Lee; two brothers, Bill and Tony Lee; two sisters, Thelma Skaggs and Helen Warren and a step-brother, Duel Lee.

She is survived by her son, Larry (Melinda) Skaggs of Tennessee; three sisters, Mary Lee of Hodgenville, Edith Johnson of Simpsonville, Judy DeWitt of Elizabethtown and two grandchildren, Patrick Skaggs and Angelique Skaggs.

Visitation will be 3:30 to 6 pm on Saturday, November 28 at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with cremation to follow.
