David Harrison

David Harrison, age 74, of Hodgenville, a native of Louisville, passed away, Sunday April 7, 2024, at his residence.

He was retired from UPS after 37 years, former owner and operator of Lincoln’ Loft Bookstore and an avid worker.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Noel Louis and Jessie Elizabeth Hynds; a sister, Mary Ellen Jordan; three brothers, Billy, Kenny and Earl Harrison.

David is survived by his wife of 50 years, Becky Bickel Harrison; a daughter, Jessica (Jeremy) Dunn of Hodgenville, a son, Michael (Heather) Harrison of Inez; three sisters, Jeanne (Pat) Hanka of Indiana, Edith (Donald) Brothers and Fifi (Paulie) Monroe all of Louisville; a brother, Noey (Pat) Harrison of Louisville; four grandchildren, Kaelyn (Luke) Prince, Steven (Paxton) Dunn, Alexa (Hunter) Pearman and Killian Harrison; eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 13, at Joseph E. Ratterman and Son Funeral Home 7336 Southside Drive in Louisville, burial will follow in Resthaven Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
