Barbara Carter

Barbara Jean Lawson Carter, age 84, of Hodgenville, passed away, Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin D. Carter; a daughter, Debbie Carter and her parents, Walter and Dorothy Farmer Lawson.

Barbara is survived by two daughters, Teresa (Barry) Gray, Bonnie (Michael) Logsdon all of Hodgenville; a son, Ronnie D. Carter of New Albany, IN; a sister, Sue Crewz of Sonora, seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 20, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Buckles officiating. Burial will follow in Old Sherman Cemetery.

 Visitation will be held  4 pm. to 8 pm. Tuesday, September 19 and after 9 am. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will include, Alan Gray, Chris Gray, Gary Crewz, Joe Ramones, Harold Carter and Yi Yu
