Virgie Tedder

Virgie Tedder, age 95, of Hodgenville, passed away, April 10, 2018, at her residence.

She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by husband, Brisco Tedder; her parents, James Hardin “Bud” and Lucretia Bastin Emerson and four brothers, Carlus, Charles, Harold and Johnny Emerson.

She is survived by three daughters, Vicki (Freddie) Brangers of Indiana, Mary Lou (Truman) Strader of Sonora and Julie (Lewis) Ireland of Hodgenville; a son Robert Tedder of Hodgenville; a sister, Gertrude Russell of Ohio; a brother, Jessie D. Emerson of Florence; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM, Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Dennis officiating. Burial will follow in the Middle Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Friday, and after 10 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
