Ora Katherine (Shelton) Cantrell

Ora Katherine Shelton Cantrell, age 98 years, of Magnolia, passed away, Monday, March 5, 2018 at her residence.

She made a profession of faith at a young age and was a member of Aetna Grove Baptist Church in Green County, attended Holly Grove Baptist Church in Green County in her later years, was a homemaker and a very talented quiltmaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Leon Cantrell; her parents, Edward Green and Neppie Ellis Campbell Shelton; a sister, Mildred Druen and two brothers, Herbert Shelton and Lee Shelton.

She is survived by a daughter, Peggy (Earl Wayne) Walker of Green County; a son, Ronny (Sharon) Cantrell of Bowling Green; six grandchildren, Debbie Walker, Melissa (Justin) Johnson, Kenneth (Pamela) Pierce, Leah (Lonnie) Crutcher, Ryan Cantrell and Adrienne Cantrell; seven great-grandchildren, LeLand Cantrell, Kimberly (Cameron) Cochran, Jeremy Pierce, Ethan Waddell, Derrick Biven, Shawn Kiser and Katherine (Courtney) Burress; four great-great-grandchildren, Daniel Ray, Matthew Ray, Aiden Taylor and Jayce Burress and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM (EST) Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Justin Johnson, Bro. Dennis Penick and Bro. Leslie Jewell officiating.  Burial will follow in the Aetna Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 PM (EST) Tuesday and after 10 AM (EST) Wednesday at the funeral home.
