Margaret Swartz

Margaret Swartz, age 81, of Magnolia, passed away, Friday, August 24, 2018, at the Hardin Memorial Hospital.

She was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and a housewife.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Freeman Lee Swartz and three sisters, Leona Herald, Wanda James and Mary Massey.

She is survived by a daughter, Janie Goode of Mt. Sherman; three grandchildren, Becky (Ray) Poirier, Dorothy (David) Perkins and Kenneth Goode; eight great-grandchildren, Maddy Poirier, Austin Goode, Laura Mae Goode, Daniel Goode, Emma Goode, Cassandra Poirier, Xander Perkins and Vivianne Perkins and one great-great-grandchild, Kaden Waddell.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home with Rev. Shannon McCubbins officiating. Burial will follow in the Haven of Rest Cemetery in Mt. Sherman.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM, Monday and after 9:30 AM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
