Leonard Arthur Miller, age 78, of Louisville, formerly of Hodgenville, passed away, Saturday, September 15, 2018, at the Tennessee State Veteran’s Home in Murfreesboro, TN.
He was an Air Force Veteran having served two tours in Vietnam; a retired detective for Louisville City Police Dept and a member of South Fork Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Nettie Brown Miller, and two brothers, Otis Miller and David Miller.
He is survived by a daughter, Holly Miller of Franklin, TN; two sons, Patrick Miller and Daniel Miller both of Seattle, WA; a step-son, Jerry (Jeanne) Elms of Franklin, TN; a sister, Ann Miller of Hodgenville; a brother, Charles (Brenda) Miller of Hodgenville; two grandchildren, Ella Katherine Woods and William Espy Woods, Jr.; two step-grandchildren, Lauren McKenzie Elms and Jerry Dalton Elms and his wife, Joan Miller of Cincinnati.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Rev. Gordon McDowell officiating. Burial will follow in the South Fork Cemetery
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM, Monday and after 9 AM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
