Jennifer Rene Phillips

Jennifer Rene Phillips, of Hodgenville, was born on May 22, 1974, and departed this life on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at her residence.

She was a graduate of LaRue County High School class of 1992. She furthered her education by obtaining a degree in Radiography through Southeast Kentucky Community College in Pikeville.  She was the former office manager at the Psychiatric Center, Inc. in Pikeville until she began her employment at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville as an X-Ray/CT Tech in 2015 and remained employed there until she was unable to work due to her illness.

She was an avid UK fan and a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. She will truly be missed!

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alvey and Marie Phillips and Tilden and Josephine Varney.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Freddie Logsdon of Campbellsville; a son, Zack Logsdon of Pikeville; her mother, June Phillips of Elizabethtown; her father, Harvey Phillips of Pikeville; her brother, Harvey “Bub” (Peetie Staples) Phillips of Hodgenville; her mother-in-law, Pearl Logsdon of Campbellsville; her sister and best friend, Pamela Hernandez of Hodgenville and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 4 PM, Saturday, June 15, 2019, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Rev. Scott Curle officiating. In keeping with her wishes, cremation will follow the services.

Visitation begins at 2 PM, Saturday at the funeral home.
