Jean Carole Ennis

Jean Carole Edwards Ennis, age 76, of Hodgenville, formerly of Greensburg, passed away, Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

She was a housewife and a member of Hodgenville Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow Lynn and Dorothy “Maxine” Larimore Edwards and a brother, J. W. “Bill” Edwards.

Jean is survived by her husband Anthony “Tony” Ennis; two daughters, Dee Anne (Sam) Sanders of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida and Ellen (Stan) Dawson of Louisville; a sister, Elizabeth Jones of Greensburg and four grandchildren, Connor Dawson, Olivia Dawson, Trevor Sanders and Samuel (Yuka) Sanders.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon (ET), Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home with Bro. Gordon McDowell officiating. Burial will follow in the Green County Memory Gardens in Summersville.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM (ET), Friday and after 9 AM (ET), Saturday at the funeral home.
