Gool W. Howell

Gool Whitfield Howell, age 92 years, of Louisville, formerly of Summersville, passed away, Friday, January 11, 2019 at his grandson’s residence in Radcliff.

He was retired from General Electric in Louisville and was a proud Army veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Howell; a son, Terry Dennis Howell; his parents, Jesse James and Lucy M. Skaggs Howell; two sisters, Ann Estelene Wilson and Geneva Thompson and three brothers, Hoyett Howell, Ronell Howell and Gordon Howell.

He is survived by a daughter, Joanie Livesay of Louisville; a step-daughter, Nancy Cobb of Chicago; a sister, Dolly Hughes of Louisville; three brothers, Jack (Helen) Howell, Ruel “Sam” Howell and Mickey (Ada) Howell all of Louisville; two grandsons, Toby Livesay and Travis Livesay and three great-grandchildren, Trenton, Tyler and Tiffany.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM (EST) Monday, January 14, 2019 at Aetna Grove Cemetery in Green County with Bro. Kelvin Edwards officiating.
