Gary Thomas Mather Sr

Gary Thomas Mather Sr, age 69, of Elizabethtown, passed away, Saturday, August 18, 2018, at his residence.

He was an Army veteran serving in Vietnam and was retired from General Electric in Louisville after 33 1/2 years.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Robert T. and Catherine Hudgins Mather.

He is survived by his wife, Judith Boggs Mather; a son, Joe Chaplin of Corydon, Indiana; two daughters, Karen (Teddy) Crawford and January (John) Gladhart, all of Corydon, Indiana; a brother, Michael Steven (Peggy) Mather of Hodgenville; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 AM, Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Sam Hinkson officiating. Burial will follow in the Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 PM Monday and after 9 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
