Frances Wells Turner, age 75, of Hodgenville, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
She was a dedicated and devoted member of Barren Run Baptist Church and a retired child care provider.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Lee Turner; a son, Joey Turner; her parents, Maxie Washington and Annie Pearl Nunn Wells; a sister, Wilma “Prunnie” Rucker and three brothers, Herbert, Glendon and Donnie Wells.
She is survived by a daughter, Melissa (Louie) Payne of Hodgenville; a daughter-in-law, Sonya Hatcher Turner of Hodgenville; five sisters, Elizabeth Wells of Elizabethtown, Janice Fancher of Horse Cave, Carol (Jim) Griswold of Elizabethtown, Sharon Wells of Owensboro and Rita (Bill) Heath of Upton; three brothers, Kenny Wells of Elizabethtown, David Wells of Hodgenville and Doug Wells of Bowling Green; three granddaughters, Ashley (Charles) McLain, Brittanie (Manny Collado) Bottoms and Mackenzie Brooke Turner; six great-grandchildren, Lilly Owens, Dahlia Owens, Luke Bottoms, Lynzie Bottoms, Memphis McLain and Rileigh Collado and a special little lady, Haley King.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, November 18, 2018, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Barren Run Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM, Saturday and after 11 AM Sunday at the funeral home.
