Ernest "Joe" Flewwellin

Ernest Joseph “Joe” Flewwellin, age 63 years, of Georgetown, formerly of Hodgenville, passed away, Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at his residence.

He was retired from the United States Navy after 27 years of service and a member of Middle Creek Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Betty Jane McCarthy Flewwellin; a sister, Nelda Kay Cornell and two brothers, Michael Flewwellin and Phil Flewwellin.

He is survived by two daughters, Sarah Moreno and Laurie Flewwellin both of Georgetown; a son, Joseph (Dusty) Flewwellin of Clarksville, TN; six grandchildren, Tamara (Durez) Massey, Tashana Flewwellin, Michael Moreno, Malachi Moreno, Marlyn Coates and Quintin Coates and two great-grandchildren, Taryn and Tariah.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM, Monday, November 18, 2019 at Middle Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Webster officiating.  Burial will follow at the Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.

Visitation will begin after 10 AM Monday at the church until time for services.
