Darlene Routt Bryan

Darlene Routt Bryan, age 76 years, of Sonora, passed away, Sunday, February 25, 2018, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

She was a faithful member of Barren Run Baptist Church and was a retired registered nurse at Hardin Memorial Hospital after several years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Bryan and her parents, John Waller and Mildred Bowling Routt.

She is survived by two sons; Tommy Lee (Pam) Bryan of Glendale and Jonathan Lee (Tammy) Bryan of Elizabethtown; a sister, Linda (Jim) Daniels of Sonora; seven grandchildren, Evan Payne, Ryan Payne, Logan Bryan, Seth Bryan, Lauren (Ben) Sylvester, Autumn (Steve) Mink and Mason Bryan; three great-grandchildren, Emma Sylvester, Lyla Sylvester and Briar Sylvester; a niece, Cheryl Haynes and a great-nephew, Jordan Haynes.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Barren Run Baptist Church near Sonora with Bro. Mike Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be 3 to 8 PM Tuesday and 9 to 10:30 AM Wednesday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville.

In honor of Darlene, the family requests that all flowers sent to the funeral home be purple and all those that attend her funeral, wear purple.
