Carlus F. Cox, Sr., age 70, of Hodgenville, passed away, Monday, February 12, 2018, at his residence.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, a retired U.S. Mint Police Officer at Ft. Knox and a Marine Veteran.
Carlus was preceded in death by his parents, Robert D. "Nug" Cox Sr. and Audria Cobb Cox.
He is survived by two sons, Carlus F. (Rachel) Cox Jr. of Radcliff and Julian Cox of Vine Grove; two sisters, Phyllis McGuire of Georgia and Charlotte Miller of California; a brother, Robert D. (Carolyn) Cox Jr. and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday, February 19, 2018, at First Baptist Church in Hodgenville, Elder Jerry Wilkinson officiating. Burial will follow at 1:30 PM Monday at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 PM Sunday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville and after 9 AM Monday at the church.
