Brenda Rock Buchanan

Brenda Rock Buchanan, age 67, of Hodgenville, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

She was a member of Middle Creek Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and Children's Church for many years and retired from LaRue County School System after 36 years of service.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Waller and Joyce Nicholas Rock and her grandparents, Logan and Sudie Nicholas and Roy and Ruby Rock.

She is survived by her husband, Donnie R. Buchanan; two daughters, Carol Jo (Reggie) Taylor of Piner and Jill Buchanan of Hodgenville; a granddaughter, Olivia Taylor; a sister, Patti (Donald) Reynolds of Magnolia; four brothers, Danny (Shirl) Rock, Jerry (Melinda) Rock, Gary (Karen) Rock and Mark (Melissa) Rock, all of Hodgenville and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Jim Webster officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM, Tuesday and after 9 AM, Wednesday at the funeral home.
